All About Mrs. Makris...
I have been married almost two years to John. The two
of us met at our church, which is St. Paul, Mt. Prospect. We currently live in Mt. Prospect and have two cats, Cozmo and Boozer.
When I married John, I added 6 nieces and nephews into my life, Samantha, Jazzmine, Zachary, Tanner, Jordan, and Hunter. We
love to spend time with them and watching them grow.
In my free time, I love to be outdoors and playing sports. I play
volleyball once a week at different locations throughout the year. Both John and my parents have land at a campground, so
we often go there during the summer and fall weekend.
I have been at Immanuel now for 2 years. I received my bachelors
degree at Concordia University in River Forest (Chicago) and my masters degree from National-Louis University (Wheeling).
At Immanuel, besides teaching 3rd and 4th grade, I am the gym teacher for K-8th, coach volleyball, cross county, and track/field,
and athletic director. I am very involved with the school and the children.
